Revitalizing Kinloch Park

Based on the findings from the “Vision 2030: St. Louis County Parks & Recreation Master Plan,” Kinloch Park is one of the most high-need parks in the region. As a result, St. Louis County Parks Foundation is embarking on a $1.5 million capital campaign to realize the potential of Kinloch Park for the people of St. Louis

Kinloch Park is Deteriorating.

  • The Park’s Restrooms & Splash Pads have been out of order indefinitely for years

  • Over 20-years ago, the playground was removed due to safety concerns

  • The ball field is unusable with turf grass having overgrown the infield.

  • Without walking trails & amenities the park is virtually a vacant lot.

A New Kinloch Park.

Kinloch Park has been reimagined into a vibrant community hub equipped with the most requested park amenities. The renovated green space will fulfill a vital role in getting people moving, invigorating the local community and making Kinloch safer and more resilient, in addition to providing children with opportunities for outdoor games, imaginative play and interactive sports.

“The plans that have been developed by the St. Louis County Parks Foundation to renovate Kinloch Park are simply amazing and beautiful.

As a native member of the Kinloch community having played in this park as a child myself, having attended several community events in the Kinloch County park over the 38 years of my life, seeing those plans brought great joy and excitement to my heart. I fully support the plans that your organization has put together for the renovation of this beautiful historic park. ”
