BOARD OF DIRECTORS

  • Mark R. Ohlendorf has been active in many civic activities in the St. Louis area. He is a semi-retired businessman who has launched several businesses in the dental field. Mark uses his extensive business experience to develop, organize and promote the Saint Louis County Parks Foundation.

  • Virginia V. McCook is an active community volunteer and has served on several boards for the Missouri Botanical Gardens, Master Gardeners of Missouri, and the St. Louis County parks. She is retired from owning/operating a restaurant franchise. Virginia uses her expertise to further the awareness of the St. Louis County Parks Foundation.

  • Marshall is a retired finance executive for Elsevier, Inc., a global science and medical publishing company. Currently Marshall serves as a board member of the Clayton Ladue Rotary Club, Volunteer Mediator for the Better Business Bureau of St. Louis, and board member of the Creve Coeur Sailing Association. Marshall uses his financial and organizational experience to promote the Parks Foundation.

  • Eric R. Moses is a practicing CPA for Maher & Co. He has extensive experience in tax preparation for individuals, corporations, trusts and tax exempt agencies. At Maher & Co., Eric is involved planning and consultation, assignment and management projects for various organizations.   • Retired marketing director from Bayard Presse, Creative Communications. Pam had held a number of sales and marketing positions in the communications and publishing industries. She also held the position of Advisor for the Graduate Business Program at University of Missouri-St. Louis and Executive Director of the Mid-Missouri Multiple Sclerosis Society. She brings extensive marketing and organizational experience to the Foundation.

  • Jeff leads HOK’s planning, urban design and landscape architecture studio in St. Louis. Working on stand-alone planning projects or as part of integrated design teams, he has delivered hundreds of successful projects that improve how people live across the U.S. and overseas. His designs blend economic, social and environmental sustainability in parks, public spaces, greenways, and a myriad of different environments.

  • Mr. Reginald Jones has been continually active in community life in North St. Louis. He serves as Mayor of the City of Dellwood, and Club Director of The Herbert Hoover Boys and Girls Club of Greater St. Louis. Even with his everyday duties, he finds time to serve other organizations such as president of the St. Louis Junior Football league, served on the Riverview Gardens School board, The St. Louis Metro Market, County Charter commission and serves on the board of Angel Arms. Reggie has received many community awards and recognition for his great work.

  • Gene McNary has spent much of his life in public service. In 1974 he was elected St. Louis County Executive and was subsequently elected to three additional terms. The County Parks system was developed and greatly improved under his leadership. Gene was appointed Commissioner of the United States Immigration and Naturalization service in 1989. Governor Matt Blunt appointed Gene to serve as Executive Director of the Missouri Gaming commission. He is president of the Special Education Foundation of St. Louis County and previously served as Chairman of Shriner’s Hospital.

  • Tom retired from St. Louis County Parks after 36 plus years with the department holding various field and management positions, including Park Director. Tom has a Master of Science degree in Environmental Studies from SIU – Edwardsville. Tom worked with Mr. Ohlendorf to establish the park foundation while he was working at St. Louis County Parks to enhance the recreational opportunities to the residents of St. Louis County. After retiring, Tom immediately joined the board to help organize and promote the Park Foundation.

  • Colleen is an attorney, a graduate of the St. Louis University School of Law and is licensed in Missouri. She brings a wealth of experience in leading public sector efforts ranging from health care, children’s and women’s support organizations, and scholarships for youth who strive to overcome adversity. Colleen served our community on the St. Louis County Council as an elected official for 12 years. She joined the Parks Foundation board in 2019.

  • David Weiss, a practicing lawyer with Sandberg, Phoenix, Von Gontard, P.C., is a firm believer in giving back to the community. Included among the many boards and organizations David has served, he was the Chairman of the business Education Committee for the Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce; served on the St. Louis School Alumni Association; and formerly served as trustee of Webster University.

  • Scott is an executive leader at Ameren Missouri, specializing in renewable energy development with a focus on solar, wind and storage technologies. Holding a B.S in Mechanical Engineering and MBA from the University of Missouri, Scott brings expertise in energy, insurance, risks, complex contracting, construction and project management. Scott's unwavering passion for environmental sustainability and community welfare drives his commitment to advancing the betterment of the local communities.
