The St. Louis County Parks Foundation bridges the gap between the public funds available & the necessary dollars needed to care for, restore & enhance the county’s extensive network of 73 parks that span over 12,500 acres.

As the official nonprofit partner of the St. Louis County Parks Department, we work in partnership to carry out our mission of increasing public appreciation, stewardship, and usage of county parks.
Each year, we co-develop a list of strategic priorities based on the most pressing needs facing the parks system. Our projects include a range of short and long-term initiatives.

Kinloch Park | Renovation
Currently undergoing a $1.9 Million campaign to renovate this high-need park into a vibrant community hub equipped with the most requested park amenities.

Faust Park | Schoolhouse
Relocated the historic 127-year-old Chesterfield African American School—the oldest still standing in Missouri—, to Faust Park where it has been restored & furnished.

Bee Tree Park | Nims Mansion Preservation
Built in 1929 by the architecture firm Maritz & Young, this Tudor-style home and its extensive gardens are now county parkland. The mansion itself is in disrepair and needs preservation.
